A small letter, to begin.

If you've found your way here, you're probably either expecting, newly expecting-adjacent (the grandparents, the dear friends), or somewhere in the first hazy months of new parenthood. We're glad you're here.

Bloom Nest started with a simple, repeated thought: that the few objects a baby actually touches — the cradle they sleep in, the spoon they grip, the soft little world around them — deserve more care than the rush of new-parent shopping usually allows for.

The internet sells parents a thousand things. Most of them you don't need. Some of them you do.

We've spent the last year quietly figuring out which is which.

What we're making

We're starting small. A handful of things, made well:

• Feeding. Food-grade silicone plates, bowls, and snack cups that survive the high-chair years.
• Sleep. Cradles in solid wood, baby nests for the fourth-trimester weeks, tummy-time wedges.
• Play. Montessori-inspired wooden toys — stackers, busy boards, object permanence boxes — the kind that sit on the shelf as quiet art when they're not in small hands.

That's it for now. We'll add more as we find pieces we genuinely believe in.

What we won't do

We won't sell anything we wouldn't put against our own children's skin. We won't dress up MDF as solid wood. We won't make claims our certifications can't back up. And we'll never call a toy "educational" just because it makes a beep.

A note on the calm aesthetic

You might notice we've kept the palette quiet — sage, taupe, coconut milk, sea foam. That's intentional. The nursery is a room your baby will be looking at for thousands of hours in their first year. We wanted to make objects that look beautiful in your home, not just on a marketing page.
