Here's where every material we use comes from — and how we think about it.

Wood

All wooden products are made from FSC-certified solid wood — primarily beech, mango, and sheesham (Indian rosewood). FSC certification means the forest the wood came from is managed responsibly, replanted, and audited.

No MDF. No particle board. No veneer over chipboard.

Finishes

Every wood product is finished with non-toxic, water-based stains and sealers, certified to EN-71 (the European toy safety standard) and IS 9873 (the Indian equivalent). They're food-safe — which matters, because babies will absolutely chew on them.

Silicone

Our feeding sets use 100% LFGB-certified food-grade silicone, the same standard required for medical and infant feeding products in Germany. BPA-free, PVC-free, phthalate-free, lead-free. Tested independently in third-party laboratories.

Fabric

Cotton used in loungers, cradle sheets, and storage bags is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning no harmful chemicals from seed to fabric. Cotton fillings are hypoallergenic and free of flame retardants.

Packaging

We pack in recycled, recyclable cardboard with paper-based void fill. No plastic bubble wrap, no single-use plastic ties. Printed materials use soy-based inks on FSC-certified paper.

What we're still working on

We're not perfect. Shipping in India still relies on transit packaging that includes some plastic for waterproofing. We're testing alternatives and will switch as soon as they're reliable.
